Selected Docs Manager document versions
Docs Manager retains and authorizes the source document; ESIA owns its assessment, project permissions and saved review editions. The Document versions panel imports a selected immutable source reference, verifies its complete bytes through a separately signed-in Docs Manager window, and attaches the reference only with current ESIA review permission. Linked versions can be reopened with view permission and fresh independent source authorization.
The reference preserves the original file address, governing workspace, authority, snapshot ID, media type, size and integrity manifest. Capturing or citing a document does not transfer ownership or import source grants. Text appears as escaped text; binary documents have a verified-original download. Preview bytes remain in memory and are cleared when their session or review context changes. A citation is not an ESIA-hosted copy of the source document.
Whole-file SHA-256 and multipart composite SHA-256 remain distinct. The reusable Workspace Contracts alpha.8 module defines exact-version identity and integrity; the session, popup, storage and review adapters remain app-owned. Current local verification supports documents up to 128 MiB. Live deployment, sign-in redirect behavior and provider acceptance remain pending.
